The Bank of China Sydney Branch 75th Anniversary Celebration Dinner
We were thrilled to help the Bank of China celebrate their 75th anniversary of opening their very first Sydney branch in Australia. We love to bring nations together, and what better way do that then provide interpretation to prominent business and government leaders from both Australia and China.
Our team supplied 570 people with simultaneous interpretation between English and Manadarin dialects. Each attendee received a Bosch receiver which was waiting for them on their table when they arrived.
The event took place in the brilliant Town Hall in the Sydney CBD. The venue was spectacular, lit up with red ambient light to symbolise the Bank of China colour. The bank’s logo was projected across the walls of the Town Hall, creating a spectacular visual display.
Our interpreters sat in one of our quality booths above the event space below. A quality visual and audio feed enabled the interpreters to give an accurate interpretation of the event’s proceedings. The audio signal was then transferred all around the room with our strategically placed infra-red radiators.
Our personal highlights from the event were hearing the honourable Bob Hawke speak about the history of Australia’s ties with China, as well as the contemporary dancers that opened the show.
