Congress Rental’s Digital Interpretation Equipment Connects Countries
In March 2017, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited Australia to strengthen the diplomatic ties between China and Australia.
​This year marked the 45th anniversary of a strong alliance between the two countries.
The second Australia-China State/ Provincial Leaders Forum was held in The Westin Sydney on the 24th of March 2017.
Congress Rental was chosen to supply the simultaneous interpretation system and conferencing equipment for the forum.
Congress Rental supplied 16 Wired Conference Microphones
The event included 200 members from all Australian States and Territories, including State Premiers, and the Australian Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull.
During this event, the Chinese Premier called upon Australian political members to expand cooperation between the two nations in more areas such as agriculture, science and technology and education.
Congress Rental was chosen to supply the simultaneous interpretation system and conferencing equipment for the forum.
We provided the highest quality Bosch equipment, including wired conferencing microphones, digital infrared receivers and ISO-compliant Audipack interpreter booths.
Using the latest digital infrared technology, including LBB 4512/00 Integrus High Power Radiators, LBB4540 Integrus Infra-red Channel Receivers and INT-TX32 Integrus Channel Transmitter, we were able to provide an interference-free, high quality simultaneous interpretation service between English and Mandarin.
The team overcame obstacles to deliver a seamless system, including an extremely limited window to bump-in and test the system. The profile of the guests meant a complex security system that shut down the lifts and required chaperones for access to the building.
The Congress Rental team worked effectively with The Westin staff, Staging Connections AV crew and Government staff to organise a comprehensive, error-free service.
