Connecting the Global Credit Union Community Across Languages
The World Credit Union Conference brought credit union members, executives, and industry leaders from around the world together at ICC Sydney for four days of education, collaboration, and international exchange.
With delegates speaking English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Korean, the event required a flexible, multilingual solution across its plenary and breakout programs. Congress Australia delivered remote simultaneous interpretation, supported by secure Integrus infrared audio distribution, to help delegates participate in their preferred language.
The plenary program supported four languages, while breakout sessions included one-way and two-way interpretation. This allowed delegates to follow presentations and participate in multilingual discussions across several concurrent spaces.

Multilingual Interpretation Across Multiple Conference Spaces
Congress Australia delivered multilingual conference services across the Darling Harbour Theatre, Pyrmont Theatre, and Parkside Ballroom 1 and 2, supporting the conference’s plenary and breakout program.
Using a Multi-Zoom workflow, remote interpreters were connected seamlessly to each session, while a compact Dante audio network routed language channels throughout the venue. Integrus digital infrared technology distributed interpreted audio to delegates, allowing them to simply select their preferred language regardless of which session they attended.
The entire system was installed over two days in collaboration with the ICC Sydney AV team, creating a reliable, efficient and discreet multilingual solution for one of the world’s largest credit union conferences.
Custom Receiver Management
A standout feature of the deployment was Congress Australia’s Custom-built Receiver Management Platform, which digitally tracked the distribution and return of interpretation receivers using delegate registration details. This significantly improved equipment accountability and made the collection process faster and more efficient for both delegates and event staff.

Supporting Changing Attendance Across Overflow Rooms
As attendance increased in several overflow spaces, additional interpretation receivers and headsets were required to ensure all delegates could access the necessary language channels.
Congress Australia responded by bringing in additional on-site personnel to manage equipment distribution, assist delegates, and support receiver collection. This allowed the expanded interpretation requirements to be accommodated without disrupting the conference program.
Seamless Multilingual Communication Throughout the Conference
The World Credit Union Conference was delivered successfully across four days of plenary presentations, breakout sessions and multilingual discussions.
The combination of remote simultaneous interpretation, Integrus infrared distribution, Dante audio networking and Multi-Zoom routing enabled Congress Australia to support different language requirements across several concurrent rooms while maintaining a compact technical footprint.
