Multilingual Executive Meetings at Four Seasons Sydney
Client Brief
Congress Australia was selected by AV Partners to provide simultaneous interpretation services for a high-profile multilingual meeting series held at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. The three-day event featured two distinct formats: a closed-door executive board meeting and a large-scale international conference—each requiring tailored AV integration, multilingual access, and seamless onsite execution.
Our Solution
Congress Australia deployed a two-tiered interpretation setup to address the contrasting requirements of both event formats:
Day 1 – Executive Board Meeting (7 April 2025)
For this private, senior-level session, we delivered a Dicentis wireless conference microphone system featuring custom delegate name displays and branding. Interpretation was conducted remotely via Zoom, with the language feeds routed through a Bosch Dicentis Transmitter and distributed to 30 Bosch infrared receivers in the boardroom. This provided discreet and professional multilingual coverage without bulky booths or equipment in the room.
Days 2–3 – Main Conference (8–9 April 2025)
For the full plenary sessions, interpretation was provided in English, Japanese, and Mandarin using 86 Bosch digital infrared receivers and high-powered Integrus infrared radiators. Interpreter feeds from Zoom were captured live, converted into multilingual outputs, and transmitted clearly across the room using Bosch Integrus hardware. All signal sources, including presenter microphones and AV feeds, were managed in partnership with the venue AV team.
On both days, Congress Australia technicians were onsite, managing distribution, collection, and technical oversight to ensure audio quality, headset performance, and channel selection remained flawless throughout.

Challenges and Solutions
Dual format requirements
With two distinct formats in a short timeframe—private executive meeting followed by large plenary—Congress Australia’s solution needed to be modular yet scalable. The use of wireless tabletop mics for the boardroom and a high-density IR system for the plenary allowed Congress Australia to adapt without overcomplication.
Hybrid interpretation integration
All interpretation was delivered remotely via Zoom, requiring robust capture, conversion, and distribution of language feeds. Congress Australia routed all interpreter outputs through Bosch Dicentis Transmitters and Infrared Radiators, offering HD-quality delivery to onsite participants using over-ear headphones—all without the need for interpreters on-site.
Brand personalisation
For the executive segment, Congress Australia implemented custom-branded touchscreen displays on Dicentis microphones. This small detail provided a premium user experience aligned with the event’s prestige and branding expectations.

The Outcome
Congress Australia delivered a full-service multilingual solution that scaled smoothly from an intimate closed session to a high-capacity international forum.
Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and all interpretation streams ran without issue across three languages, multiple rooms, and two formats. The event stands as a strong showcase of Congress Australia’s agility in delivering simultaneous interpretation at any scale.
“This event demonstrated Congress Australia’s ability to bridge compact executive requirements with full-scale multilingual plenaries—all through smart modular equipment and world-class remote interpretation integration.”
